On Saturday, August 17th, the Rt Rev. Bernard Nowicki conferred tonsure, minor orders, and the sub- diaconate on Mr. Anthony Prince of Holy Cross Parish in Syracuse, NY; tonsure, minor orders, the sub-diaconate, and the ordination to the diaconate of Rev. Mr. Michel Seward of St. John the Baptist Parish in Hazelton, PA; ordination to the diaconate of Rev. Mr. Donald Wunderlich of Heart of Jesus Parish in Bayonne, NJ. Holy Mass and these ordinations took place at Holy Mother of Sorrows Parish in DuPont, PA.

Acolyte Retreat – 2013

The 2013 Acolyte Retreat of the Central Diocese of the Polish National Catholic Church will be held at the Bishop Hodur Retreat and Recreation Center in Waymart, Pennsylvania from Wednesday, June 26th (12 Noon) to Saturday, June 29th (12 Noon).

“Because you are God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with heartfelt mercy, with kindness, humility, meekness and patience” (Colossians 3:12)

Many of you have good memories of the last Acolyte Retreat of the Central Diocese from last summer. You spent wonderful times with your friends, enjoyed the games, learned more about the Holy Bible, and had the opportunity to grow closer to your best friend, Jesus Christ. Now, it is a time to refresh those good memories and bring new friends with you for this year’s retreat.

The Confession of Faith of the Polish National Catholic Church was first adopted in 1913 at Provincial Synods convened at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Passaic, New Jersey and Chicopee, Massachusetts. The Third General Synod convened at Chicago, Illinois adopted the Confession in 1914 and it has not been modified since.
